Hello friends. In 2019 and early 2020 Tiny Deserts existed as a live group. We played small shows in the Northeast, playing songs from our album "Safekeeping," and elsewhere. The lineup of this group wasn't fixed, nor were the ways we played the songs. It was lovely. We were old friends playing music we felt strongly for, music we cared for. Then, a bad virus spread across the world and no one could play any songs in any bands at any shows. It was sometime during the pandemic summer of 2020 that I had the idea to try to release a live record, to serve as a document (a record, literally) of Tiny Deserts as a rotating live band before everything changed.

Luckily, Conor Grocki and Adris Raal of Albany, NY had multi-tracked a show of ours from October 2019. Conor mixed the audio of that show, and helped me create a beautiful, very loud record of live material. Additionally, I mixed a recording of a later Tiny Deserts show on Southern Berkshire Community Access Television (CTSB) from which I have included a song.

I want to share this in order to celebrate how we brought to life the songs of "Safekeeping", which has just turned one year old. I want to share this to remember a little bit of why we want to go out and experience music.
My hope is that, in hearing this offering, you are reminded of seeing us, or seeing any band, live and in person.
All proceeds from this release will be given directly to Solidarity Supply Distro of Boston, MA, to help further their communal mutual aid efforts during the ongoing pandemic. Solidarity Forever.
